[Born of Fire TD]

Very good but challenging

First things first, the loading scene got my attention with that chaotic background, I like that. The retro gaming design of the game is very well thought out too, for a guy that likes high quality games this actually pleases me. The fact that you added a story to each mission is cool too, but if you could've taken that story and turned it into a narrator's dialogue that would've been awesome. The thing that bother's me though is the limit of troops to stop the attacks. There isn't enough, and when the game gets harder its very difficult to take care of all the enemies. Maybe you should work on adding little soldiers with the heros. But over all, this is pretty good, keep it up.

at some point, i intended to add summoning of helpers. for example, the king would have summoned squires and birds of prey, the kitsunes spirits of fire/ice. i ran out of budget and time, so i ditched them. maybe some other time :)

oh, and what do you mean by "narrator's dialogue"? something like an audiobook?

I just gotta say: WOW

I am very impressed by this game, although I was a little bit lost at the beginning because what you have to do isn't that obvious. Heh, I did have to go chck the walkthrough, I'm ashamed of being stuck at the beginning. But ANYWAYS, good story! Like some people might have mentioned, contact on the radio from us would be enjoyable, although you left out the main characters face on purpose, and a voice might have added a nice touch to the dialogue. The characters you chose were interesting, might be fun if you could mention some history of those scars on some people in future sequels. And seriously (well not that seriously), the final boss warning would have been nice because when I beat the guy I had nothing left on me and I was one hit away from dieing. A suggestion I might add is some free roam in the game, like side jobs to get some credits when we have to buy equipement. Some pictures in the credits have gotten some question in my mind, can't wait to know what they will have to do with the story, I hate cliff hangers :P . So yeah very good game, nice story, could add a few more details, but good all the same.
And my last note is I'm sorry if this review was very long, but I do hope that it helped.
